About the North Wales Land Rover Club

The Club was founded in 1986 by a number of Land Rover Enthusiasts who wanted a club based in North Wales.
It currently has about 200 members.
It puts on a wide variety of events such as:

• RTV - Road Tax Vehicle Trial
• CCV - Cross Country Vehicle Trial
• TYRO -Try Your Rover Out Trial
• Gymkhana - A fun, family event
• Greenlaning
• Other Non-competitive Events
• Regular Social events and Club Nights

A Club night is held on the 3rd Monday of each month at The Trefnant, Trefnant.
Trefnant is on the A525 halfway between St Asaph and Denbigh.

The Club is affiliated to the Motor Sports Association (MSA) and a member of the Association of Land Rover Clubs (ALRC)

It welcomes all Land Rover enthusiasts and owners, whatever model from the original 80” of 1948 to the latest Range Rover Sport & Freelander. The competitions are run under the ALRC rules so if you wish to enter a competition the vehicle should be either standard, virtually as it left the factory, or if modified, use predominantly Land Rover parts, sorry no Japanese engines!
For social or non-competitive events any modifications are welcome, and usually admired.
