Bala

The site is at Grid Ref: SH963363 located near Llandderfel on the B4401 about 2 miles from the A494, 2 miles north of Bala. From most directions the best approach is to turn south off the A5 at the traffic lights about 2 miles west of Corwen and follow the A494 for about 8 miles. The site will be signed from the A494. From the A494 heading west towards Bala, turn left onto the B4401 to Llandderfel. The trial site is approximately 1 mile on the left hand side.

Bethel

This site is at Grid Ref:SH535656. From Bangor Services at the Junction of the A5 & A55 take the B4366 South West towards Bethel. Cross the Roundabout then the site is about 1.5 miles on the left.

Bryngwyn Farm

This site is at Grid Ref: SJ 211611. Turn off the A494 Mold to Ruthin road at Gwernymynydd by the Rainbow Garage. In 1 mile turn right at the T-Junction, Bryngwyn Farm is 1/2 Mile on the left.

Coed Talon

This site is at Treuddyn at GR SJ259584. From the A5104 Corwen-Chester Road, about 2 miles South West of Pontblyddyn (on the A542 Mold Wrexham road) turn North into Treuddyn, then right in the village. The site is on the right in about half a mile.

Froncysyllte

The site is at Grid Ref: SJ271405  just south of Froncysyllte off the A5. It will be signed from the A5 between Froncysyllte and the Halton Roundabout where the A5 meets the A483.

Caergeiliog

Come off the A55 at junction 4, head into Gaerceiliog and look out for the NWLRC yellow arrows.  This new site is at Grid Ref: SH319781.

Take the “old” A5 across Anglesey, and then turn north in the middle of Gaerwen. The site is at GR SH478728.

This is the old Gwyddelwern site, we no longer use it.

New Gwyddelwern Site

This is a new site, and will be signposted from the A494 at Gwyddelwern, between Ruthin and Corwen.

Harlech

This site is best approached off the A496 at Llanfair, 1 mile south of Harlech at GR SH573295. In Llanfair turn inland, in 100 meters turn left them in 75 meters turn right. Follow this road for about three miles, straight over a crossroads and past a junction. Merthyr Farm (the campsite) is on the left. The trial site is a quarter of a mile further on the right. The site is at GR SH611321.

Pant-y-Ffordd, Llanarmon-yn-Ial

The entrance to the site is at SJ 189 541. From the centre of the village ofLllanarmon-yn-Ial take the B5431 (Llandegla Road) heading south. After about a mile take the ninety-degree turn left onto Pant Y Ffordd. Look out for the yellow arrows.
From the south take the B5431 Llandegla Road from the A525. Atfer about 2 miles take the ninety-degree turn right onto Pant Y Ffordd. Look out for the yellow arrows.

Llanfair TH (Llanfair Talhaiarn)

This site is at a Henllys farm, at GR SH908696. Come off the A55 at Junction 24 for Abergele. At roundabout take the exit towards A574 into Abergele. At second set of lights turn left on A548 towards Llanrwst. After approx 5 miles turn half left over small bridge into Llanfair TH. Keep to the right, parallel with the river, for approx 2 miles. Henllys farm is on the right.

Llangefni

This site is at Lledwigan Farm, Anglesey, at GR SH455740. From the A55 or “old” A5 take the A5114 towards Llangefni. The entrance is about 200 meters on the right.

Plas Coch

This site is at GR SH512685. Crossing on to Anglesey take the A5 towards Llanfair PG then the A4080 towards Brynsiencyn. Plas Coch is about 2 miles on the right.

Plas Einion

Plas Einion is located at GR SJ130543 (OS Explorer map No. 256 ‘Wrexham/Wrecsam & Llangollen’). The site can be approached, avoiding built-up areas, on the A525 from Wrexham. From England approach Wrexham on the A483 from Chester to the North (M53/A55) or from Shrewsbury to the West (A5) and take the A525 turning’.

This site is at Dolbenmaen at GR SH512432. From the A487 Caernarfon to Porthmadog road about 4 miles west of Porthmadog, 2 mile south of Bryncir, turn north on an unclassified road toward Cwm Pennant.

The site is at GR SJ255542. From the A525 Wrexham - Ruthin road at Bwlchgwyn by the Moors Inn, go North up the B5430. After 1 mile turn right onto unclassified road. In 1 mile at T junction turn right. The site is 1/2 mile on right.
